Meet Dr. Lauren

After 10 years of practicing dentistry in Chicago, Dr Lauren Koch is excited to open her own office to provide dental care to the neighborhoods she calls home. Dr Koch has lived in the Avondale/Logan Square neighborhoods since 2019 and had always dreamed of having her office in these thriving neighborhoods.

Dr Koch grew up in the California Bay Area before moving to Michigan in high school. After high school she received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, a master’s degree from Eastern Michigan University, and finally her DDS degree from the University of Michigan. After graduation from dental school, she moved to Chicago where she has had the opportunity to provide dental care to multiple populations of Chicago residents.

Chicago has always felt like home to Dr Koch and she decided to put down roots in the Logan Square neighborhood after living on the border of Avondale/Logan Square for a few years. When she was looking for a location to open her new practice, she immediately gravitated to the area that was just a few blocks away from where she once lived.

Dr Koch has a passion for dentistry and is committed to staying up to date with the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques. Her dedication to lifelong learning enables her to provide the highest level of care to her patients and to tailor treatment plans to meet each patient’s unique needs. Her goal is to educate and empower her patients while taking time to listen to her patients’ concerns and goals while providing them the best dental experience.

Dr. Koch is an active member in the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and American Dental Association.

Outside of the dental office, Dr Koch enjoys being immersed in her community. She loves frequenting the amazing restaurants Avondale and Logan Square have to offer as well as enjoying community events like the Logan Square Farmers Market with her husband, Devin, and her two children, Nora and Finn.
